Jackson's First Swim

John took Jackson swimming this past weekend in Crescent Bar. Jackson was very drowsy from the 90 degree weather and wasn't overjoyed to go swimming in the pool. But, he did look very cute in his swimsuit with monkeys on it.

Baby Einstein Video

Since Jackson wasn't feeling well today, I popped in one of his Baby Einstein videos about Beetoveen's music. Below is a video of him watching it.


To anyone thinking of buying it, I thought it was a little odd that there weren't any words the entire movie and it was a little chaotic in that there are just a bunch of different pictures and colors that flash on the screen randomly throughout the video. Oh, and it's only 28 minutes long for $14.99. But, he seemed to enjoy it.

Bouncy Toy

Jackson loves to kick and stand up while being held. So Julie put together his bouncy toy, which he's still a little too young for. He likes it for a few minutes before his armpits get tired of holding him up since he can't sit up yet. Here's some pictures of him in his bouncy toy.

Look Mom, I can Grab Things!

Jackson has figured out how to grab things with his hands. Here's a video of him trying to put a ball in his mouth. Of all of his toys, his favorite thing to grab (and try to put in his mouth) is his burp rag. Go figure.

I'm a Thumb Sucker!

Jackson finally figured out how to get just his thumb in my mouth, and not his entire fist! Congrats buddy!

Bumbo Seat

Lately it seems like Jackson is trying to sit up, and he gets a little fussy when he can't do it. So, we thought we'd try the Bumbo seat and see how he did. We learned it's still a little too early for the bumbo seat. The photos below show Jackson's reaction to the seat, before he fell over in it. Keep working on that neck muscle buddy!
