Bubbles

One of Jackson's new things these days is trying to blow/spit bubbles:

Shy bubbles:

And of course, Jackson LOVES to bounce:

I'm Naked (sort of)

Sippy Cup

I tried giving Jackson formula in his sippy cup. Here's some pictures of how it went. In the end, he ended up with very little formula in his tummy and a lot on himself and the table.

Rollie Pollie

Jackson rolled over for the first time on his own about a week ago. Here's a video of him rolling over this evening. And yes, he's grunting.

4th of July Weekend

Jackson's first Fourth of July was spent jumping in his bouncy toy outside at Grandma and Grandpa Franck's house. Jackson also "caught" candy at the Yarrow Point/Hunt's Point parade. It was a beautiful sunny day and Jackson even stayed awake for the fireworks! He just can't miss a thing. To mom and dad's surprise, he was up at 4:15am the next morning. As the pediatrician said, "I think he may be a very active child." Hmmm, takes after his father.

Jackson went to the Seattle Mariner's baseball game with his Grandma and Grandpa Huibregtse. He was more interested in sucking on his sweatshirt than watching the game though.

By the 7th inning he was out. So tired.

Crocs

Grandpa Huibregtse bought Jackson some camoflauge crocs. We put them on today and they almost fit. They also make Jackson's ankles/cankles look thinner.

Bumbo Seat - Take 2

Now that Jackson is a little older he is liking his Bumbo seat more. This morning he sat in it and watched me eat my cereal. I think he is jealous and is wanting to eat solid food like Mom and Dad. One more month buddy.

Jackson is 5 Months Old!

We made it another month! Here are some recent photos and videos of Jackson. For his 5-month birthday he got a ride from Kodi and lots of licks (and a bath immediately afterward). Enjoy!

More laughing baby...

1st Father's Day

For John's first Father's Day, we went to the Mariners vs. Arizona Diamondbacks baseball game. Amazingly, the Mariner's won in the bottom of the ninth inning. It was a great game and a great day. It was a little windy, so Jackson was bundled up. But, he enjoyed the game regardless. He also got a free hat at the game.
